Three Course Dinner with Wine for Two in London
Excellent Italian at La Pietra
I got given this voucher and booked La Pietra. We had a great meal and could choose from the main menu. I started with a lovely antipasta dish and then had a creamy asparagus risotto followed by chocolate mousse. My boyfriend had crispy brushetta followed by a lovely fresh pasta dish. All the pasta and bread is made in house and the staff could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful Namaaste Kitchen
My wife, myself and two friends who visited Camden for the day and decded to use our Three course meal for two vouchers at Namaaste Kitchen that evening. We pre-booked which was a very easy and straight forward. We had a wonderful time right from the moment we arrived, our request to sit outside, throughout our time there and especially the wonderful food, which all four of us agreed was full of different magnificent flavours which blended together superbly and was something we had never experienced before. Service was first class and none of us could fault any part of our time there. We will definitely return and would recommend this restaurant to anybody who wishes to try something different than the normal Indian type of meal experience. 10 out of 10.

Second visit a disappointment
Cafe Des Amis, Covent Garden
I booked a meal for a Monday night at this restaurant in July, to celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday. I booked three vouchers for 6 of us and it was a fantastic experience! We were allowed to choose anything from the a la carte menu and had excellent & prompt service. Such was the experience that I rebooked for my partner's birthday. The two could not have been more of a contrast. The first time round, the staff admitted that they hadn't had many vouchers and weren't sure what to do, the second time , there were a stack of them by reception so the offer from Buyagift (or something similar) had obviously taken off. It was a Sunday evening and quite busy. This time we were given the £15 menu to choose from. Bearing in mind that we had paid £22.50 (£45 for two), for the '£15' menu and a glass of wine, it seemed expensive. We could have booked directly and got a half bottle of wine for the same price. The service was slow and they had run out of items on the set menu because apparently they stop serving at 8 on a Sunday. They had obviously got a deal on peas since the soup was pea soup and the seasonal vegetables were mainly peas. I wouldn't recommend this deal primarily because it would be cheaper to go to the restaurant direct. If the first experience was the norm, I would have no hesitation, but I suspect that now it is the latter.
