We went to The Lake Country House In Powys today and i had to come home and write this review. I had the best afternoon tea i have ever experienced. The smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches were so delicious and don`t get me started on the welsh cakes, fruit cake and fruit cream scones, all home made and all washed down with lashings of wonderful tea! The hotel is set in wonderful countryside, and the house itself is the height of luxury, all i can say is i can`t wait to go again. I know what i will be buying for xmas presents this year, FAB!!!

We had tea at The Dales Country House Hotel in Norfolk. It was lovely. A good selection of finger sandwiches., four different sorts of cakes for each person and warm scones, jam and clotted cream and endless pots of tea and coffe. The staff were friendly and helpful. The setting was very nice. Tea could be taken in a choice of lounges or outside. A lovely way to spend an afternoon!

So, we arrived on a beautiful day at the equally beautiful Episode Hotel in Leamington Spa. First impressions were great!
I handed in the vouchers at the bar and we were asked where we would like to be seated. We opted for the garden terrace as it was such a lovely day. We sat down at the table and were served our drinks (cappuchinos and pepsi) You don't have to opt for tea.
A short while later we were served an amazing array of treats including cucumber, salmon and ham sandwiches. The sweets were to die for, chocolate brownies, scones with lashings of jam and cream and delicious apple pastries.
Overall it was a fantastic experience, I cannot recommend it enough and would most certainly go again. Thank you buyagift and Episode!

I took my mum for afternoon tea at the Episode Hotel after a shopping trip in Leamington town centre and it far exceeded our expectations. we received a large pot of tea, chocolate brownies, Danish pastries, sandwiches and a fresh scone with jam and cream. Excellent value for money.... would highly recommend.
