Try out a completely unique thrill that allows you to experience the adrenaline rush of skydiving, without stepping foot in a plane! These wind tunnels are usually used to test the aerodynamics of F1 racing cars, but you will use the Airkix tunnel to defy gravity and experience the feeling of freefalling 12,000 ft - indoors! Your experience will be captured on film and you’ll receive a free DVD copy to keep. This exciting experience is suitable for anyone over 4 so the whole family can give it a go!
Upon contact with the supplier you will be issued with a report time; it is important that you arrive no later than the report time given. You will have a fun briefing and will receive all necessary instruction. You will learn and practice freefall and body flying techniques. Each participant will get kitted up in flight suit, specialist headgear, goggles, earplugs, knee and elbow pads, before entering the tunnel with your instructor for your flights. Each participant will receive two one minute flights. You will receive one souvenir DVD recording of your experience per voucher. All necessary equipment is provided. You should wear casual clothes, ideally a t-shirt without a collar, and laceup trainers are mandatory.

This voucher is valid for 10 months. This voucher is for two people. Your voucher is valid on weekdays only, and may not be used on any Bank Holidays or during the following periods: 2013: 27th – 31st May, 21st Oct-1st Nov, 16th Dec- 3rd Jan 2014. 2014: 17th-28th Feb, 7th- 15th Apr, 26th May- 6th June. You may upgrade to fly during these periods subject to supplement of £29.99 payable to Airkix upon booking. The upgrade package includes an additional DVD. Each participant will receive two one minute flights, which must be taken on the same day. Min. age 4; under 18s will require a signature from a parent or guardian in order to fly. Max. weight 18 stone. If any participants have a disability, you should contact Airkix directly at least two weeks in advance of your flight date. Do not fly if you are pregnant or have ever had a dislocated shoulder. Check with your doctor if you have ever had back/neck/heart problems. You cannot fly if you are wearing a hard plaster cast. Upon booking your experience you will be given a report time; it is extremely important that you arrive no later than this time. All dates are subject to availability. This voucher cannot be extended.
