45 Minute Gunwharf Quay RIB Blast

Arrive at the dock at least 15 minutes before the appointed time for a safety briefing and to collect your life jacket and waterproof gear. You will climb aboard a 29ft high speed powerboat (RIB) for a white-knuckle blast around the Solent. Your experienced skipper will guarantee you a fantastic time in your 40 minutes of adrenaline-filled boating action.

The trip departs from Gunwharf Quays for a short tour around the harbour and the historic ships including HMS Victory and HMS Warrior. After exiting the harbour the throttle of one of the 10 seater speed machines will be opened up, and you'll experience speeds of up to 50mph. You will get a unique and close up view of the forts, as well as the adrenaline pumping sensation of the boat flying across the waves from passing ferries and ships.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. This experience is available at weekends and during school holidays from March through until November. Minimum age - 12 years; under 18s must be accompanied by parent/guardian. The minimum height for participants is 1.52m (5ft) The maximum weight for participants is 108kg (17 stone). Please inform the supplier of any relevant medical conditions upon booking. Not suitable for anyone with heart problems, serious back and neck conditions, people in wheelchairs or pregnant women. If you are asthmatic you must bring your inhaler. If concerned about seasickness please take tablets 2 hours before the ride. Boats are fully insured and fitted with the latest safety equipment. This activity is weather dependant. Please check with the supplier the day before to make sure the activity is going ahead, especially if you are travelling from a distance. There will be up to 9 other passengers in the boat. No one under the influence of drugs or alcohol will be permitted to participate. All dates are subject to availability.
