A nice day out
I bought this as a Valentines gift for me and my girlfriend.
I had a little difficulty booking, but this may have been partly due to the flooding in the area earlier in the year which reduced the dates available.
On the day, we found the directions for car parking and a meeting place accurate and convenient. The instructor spent about 20 mins talking us through it all(rules and safety etc), making sure we all knew what we were doing before we got the kayaks in the water.
There was eight people in the group. We had a leisurely paddle downstream, taking in the sights of Windsor while the instructor told various facts and interesting information on what we could see. The journey back against the current was harder but still enjoyable.
We finished where we had started about an hour and half later nad received a plastic cup of Cava.
Although it wasnt really romantic(how romantic can kayaking be anyway?) it was a nice day out and there was plenty to see in the town afterwards.
