Set on 100 acres of Northamptonshire countryside, this incredible half day experience gives you the chance to drive at least three Military Vehicles across seriously prepared tank courses, massive holes, banks and water splashes. You’ll be able to take control of vehicles such as the Russian fully amphibious Turbo powered Grozdilka (the only vehicle of its kind in the UK), the 432 Armoured Personnel Carrier and the 6x6 skid steer Supacat. What’s more, the best driver on the day gets to drive over a family saloon car in a massive 56 ton Chieftain Main Battle Tank!

Also included in the day is an hour in the extensive armoury, where you’ll get to see and learn about hundreds of weapons from 17th century flintlock muskets and pistols right up to current day hardware AK47’s MP5’s and rocket propelled grenade launchers – with all your questions answered by an ex-British army sniper/mercenary. Refreshments are included all day along.

After a safety briefing you 'll find yourself at the controls of three amazing military vehicles. Then you'll get to watch one side show, which could be a look at the weapons inside the armoury or SAS woodland patrol experience, depending on which is available. You'll get to drive a Russian Gvozdika tank, a 432 Personnel Carrier and either a Lance Missile Carrier or Humvee (which was featured in the film Black Hawk Down). At the end of the day, the best driver gets to crush a car with a 56 ton Chieftain tank! Looking the part in a camouflage suit and helmet, you 're in for four solid hours of army fun.

Getting to drivie the Russian tank was amazing, up close to a real war machine. Even driving the Personnel Carrier was good fun as well as being a passenger in one, now I know what soliders go through in the back of one of them. The Survival talk with John Sullivan was really good, meeting someone who has experienced so much in life and how to survive on your own was interesting and a learning experience. The staff at Tanks A Lot were very welcoming and knowledgable.
