Eclipse Sphereing is an exciting new take on Harness sphereing, where people are rolled down steep hills inside 12' inflatable balls. Unlike conventional spheres, Eclipse spheres are completely opaque. You and a friend are strapped facing each other in the harnesses inside the blacked-out ball, before tearing off down a hill at speeds of up to 30mph in total darkness. The general reaction is to laugh hysterically as you descend the hill, rolling and bouncing! And don't worry, with a safety harness, and 3-foot of air between you and the ground, you're entirely safe.
On arrival at the site you will be strapped into the Sphere for your ride. Hang on tight and expect to feel dizzy when you reach the bottom. The two of you will share the Sphere and will have one roll down the hill. This experience involves G-forces similar to a fairground ride as such it is not recommended for the elderly or infirm. Please note that this experience is weather dependant.

This experience is available at 3 Locations:

  • Berkshire (South West) - Reading
  • Cheshire (North) - Macclesfield
  • Nottinghamshire (Midlands) - Nottingham
Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This experience is for two people. Pre-booking is essential. Do not Sphere if you are:
• pregnant
• suffering from high blood pressure, any heart condition or epilepsy
• suffering from, or have ever had, any back or neck problems
• under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• undergoing medical treatment or have had an operation within the past twelve months
• under 4 ft and less than 12 years old (Parental consent is required up to the age of 18)
• exceeding 18 stone (NB. max girth 60 ins)
The business judgment of customer weight/height (or any other restriction) is final and may be decided upon by staff on the day of the ride. If you suffer from any other conditions and are in doubt of your participation please contact the supplier.

We tried aqua sphereing when we were travelling in New Zealand and loved it. Didn't know they even did anything like this in Britain til we saw this on Buyagift! Eclipse sphereing was a real adrenaline thrill for adrenaline junkies like us - doing it in the pitch dark made the NZ experience seem tame!
