Wakeboarding is a thrilling mix of snowboarding and surfing and this extended introduction course is designed to get you off to a flying start. Wakeboarding is easy to learn and extremely good fun. During the course you will start with kneeboarding before progressing to standing on the board. All the equipment and instruction is provided.
You 'll be gliding around the water in no time!
Once you have changed into your wetsuit you will be given a full safety briefing and instruction on the basics. Then take to the water on a cable system initially on a kneeboard. You will have one hour of kneeboarding to familiarise yourself with how the cable pulls and how to take the corners. Once you are confident on the kneeboard you will progress onto the wakeboard. Again you will receive tuition on land before returning to the water. The experience lasts approximately five hours*. At the Gloucestershire location you may also receive video coaching and real time instruction where a coach will come out and board alongside you.
*Please note that the extended wakeboarding at Milton Keynes will be split over two sessions taken on two different days.

This experience is available at 2 Locations:

  • Buckinghamshire (South East) - Milton Keynes
  • Gloucestershire (South West) - South Cerney
Your voucher is valid for 10 Months . The locations are open daily from May to September inclusive and on selected days of the week for the rest of the year. All equipment is provided for your experience. Please note that this is wakeboarding on a cable system. Both locations have plenty of space for spectators as well as food and drink outlets. Minimum age is 8 years.

Never done wakeboarding before but definitely doing it again! The mrs got me the experience for my birthday after we did waterskiing on holiday and it was even better than that! Just felt cooler - I know that sounds really pathetic from a thirtysomething bloke - but I tell ya it's impossible not to look cool strapped to a board zipping behind a speedboat at goodness knows what miles per hour!

Loved being able to spend the whole day out on the water on this experience day. Wakeboarding is great fun to do for anyone who has done or even thought about doing other watersports like water skiing or surfing. As the lessons went on I got even better and fell over much less!
