This full day sailing experience is the perfect day out for anyone looking to escape from the hustle and bustle of the day-to-day routine and soak up the invigorating sea air. You’ll spend around 8 hours sailing along the beautiful River Orwell on a powerful sailing yacht, taking in views of the stunning surroundings and relaxing on deck. You’ll even have the chance to take control of the yacht, receiving instructions from your expert skipper. Your day will also include lunch and afternoon tea, as well as morning coffee and pastries.
You can enjoy a full day on the water with this sailing experience. Upon arrival at 9.15am you will be met by your experienced skipper, who will give you full safety briefing before kitting you out and leading you to a 52' Ocean going Yacht that will be your vessel for the day. You will also receive morning coffee and pastries. Once on the water you will sail down the River Orwell, before mooring or anchoring for lunch on board. In the afternoon you will sail off the local coast or on the River Stour and return along the River Orwell, and throughout the experience there will be plenty of time to sit back, relax and enjoy the fantastic views. You'll also be encouraged to take a turn at the helm, steer the yacht and handle the sails under guidance from your highly trained skipper, before your return after approximately 8 hours. Full wet weather gear is available if required.
