Perfect for beginners or those who have kayaked before. This course on the coast of Pembrokeshire is ideal for those that want to experience the thrill of kayaking on the sea. Your Guide will make sure you learn quickly and safely before exploring the coastline. Flat water, white-water and surf are all options so whatever your ability you will have a great day with a centre of excellence for sea kayaking.
Adventure sessions begin at 9am or 1.30pm and last approximately 3½ hours including travel time. After an introductory briefing you will change into a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and other safety equipment before taking a short minibus ride to the activity venue. You will need to provide trainers, swim-wear, towel and warm clothing. During the session you will start in the shelter of a harbour before your adventure guide takes you to explore the bays, caves and waves of Britain 's only coastal national park with stunning views along the coastline. Your voucher is valid for 10 months. No experience is necessary. The minimum age is eight years, and participants will be grouped with others of a similar age & ability, unless otherwise requested. The maximum group size is ten participants, unless by prior arrangement. Spectators are welcome to visit although there is restricted viewing of the activities. If the weather conditions are unsuitable and the session is cancelled you will be offered an alternative experience, or the opportunity to rebook for another date. The coast of Pembrokeshire National Park is spectacular and spending half a day kayaking around all the caves and caverns was wonderful. The instructors were all fab I went with my sister and although we'd never got in a kayak before once we got on the water it was so much simpler than it looked.
