Any climber will tell you that climbing indoors is all well and good, but outdoors is where the fun, atmosphere and exhilaration are really at! If you've ever wanted to try climbing, then do it on a proper rock surface, and in no time you'll be hooked. The session will be tailored to your ability and what you want to achieve, so whether you want to reach the tops of mountains or maybe just get your feet off the ground, there's a challenge for everyone.
On arrival at the venue you will be met by your instructor, who will conduct a full safety briefing. Then it's time to be outfitted with the requisite safety equipment before you begin climbing. During your session you will cover the topics of knots and belaying, safety awareness, climbing technique, climbing etiquette and an introduction to climbing and bouldering. You will be fully supervised by an instructor throughout the day. This experience will last for approximately four hours, including briefing time and the issuing of safety equipment.
