The Segway Rally experience makes a great day-out for you and a friend, as you learn to drive one of these advanced vertical scooters. While your full training session and a group excursion will teach you how to handle the Segway at a relaxed pace, you'll also take on the Segway-rally track, where you can test yourselves and find out just how good you really are!
The Segway Rally experience for two is a great way to compare your skills on these motorised wonders. You'll begin with a registration, where you'll each receive the kit you'll need safely to command your Segway, before receiving a briefing and training session. Once you've got to grips with the basic principles, you'll be taken for a group familiarity excursion, where you'll see the local area and gain confidence piloting your Segway. Finally, it's time for the main event, as you take to the circuit in turn and find out how good you really are on the Segway rally course! This experience will last for around an hour but you should allow 90 minutes. You'll also each receive a certificate at the end. Please note that some locations are not available until January 2012.

  • Northamptonshire (Midlands) - Towcester
  • Nottinghamshire (Midlands) - Newark
  • West Midlands (Midlands) - Nr Tamworth
  • West Sussex (South East) - Horsham
Your voucher is valid for 10 months for two people. Please have your voucher to hand when you contact the operator to arrange a date for your experience. At the Nottingham and Harrogate venues, participants and spectators must be aged 18 years or over. At all other venues there are no minimum age restriction, but participants must be at least 134cm tall. Please note that some locations are not available until January 2012. Min weight is 45kg, Max weight is 117kg. This experience is not suitable for those who are pregnant, those suffering from heart disease or epilepsy; other medical restrictions may apply - please check with the operator upon booking. You will not be permitted to participate if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Protective kit and helmets will be provided on the day, these must be worn during the experience. All dates are subject to availability.

We arrived early at the venue of Bray Lake and watched the previous group return from their fun. We were given a safety briefing and then were all togged up with safety equipment by the organisers. We had a quick explanation of how the segway worked, dos and don'ts, and then headed to the training track. Ten minutes there and once we'd built some confidence we were lead to a small wooded area where we could head off on our own. We had a brilliant time and laughed so much. The time went very quickly and we could have easily had more time on the segway. The wooded area could have been bigger too. There were just 8 of us in the group and we had to keep stopping to let others through. This didn't stop us having fun though.. I'd recommend this to anyone. We had a third party take some photos of us but the organisers did take a photo of us too which we could take away there and then!

Bought my partner this segway experience and we finally went to Thoresby Hall to take part. This was such fun - a really good thing to do. Would recommend for anyone of moderate fitness.

I got this as a Christmas present for my mum and had an amazing time. I wasn't the fasted person there, well actually i was the slowest but the instructor was brilliant and everyone could go at their own pace. I thought they were going to be difficult but it was so easy to pick up after the first time. We are going to book another experience in a bigger group.
