out of this world If anyone has the nerves or brave enough i would recommend a static line parachute its a fantastic experience . 13 April 2013
Amazing Experience I received this gift as a Christmas present and was both thrilled and terrified. The training took place at Flookburgh airfield and was very thorough. The staff were lovely and explained everything in great detail. Unfortunately it was too windy for us to jump on the same day so I had to return. Following a couple of visits which were either too windy or too cloudy I finally had a beautiful day. I was taken through the basics again before going up,up and away. I was the only static line jumper on that particular plane. The instructor talked all the way up and the view out of the plane was lovely. Then PANIC! The door opened and out I leapt. I was so busy panicking I forgot the basics for a few seconds then it all kicked in (by which time the parachute was open!) It was truly amazing. The view was spectacular and it was so peaceful. The ground instructor talked to me when necessary and it was a great, easy landing. I was like a Cheshire cat. I just wanted to run around squealing like a big kid. I would've loved to go back up there and then. Fab, Fab, Fab. Go for it. If I can do it anyone can. (No I'm not good at heights or standing close to the edge of anything) :-) Wow wow wow!!! Loved it! 20 February 2013

Hi just wanted to let you know what an amazing time I had on my static line parachure jump. I didn't want to do the tandem skydive so this seemed liek a good option and I'm really pleased I asked for it for my 21st! The instructors are really good and make you feel comfortable with what you'll be doing with the parachute and how to land. No complaints at all! 16 November 2010
