To call yourself a true thrill seeker, you have to complete a skydive, and what safer and quicker way to give it a go than jumping in tandem with an experienced instructor, leaving all the technical stuff to them? Once you have been kitted up and run through the safety protocols by your instructor, you will board the plane and get strapped firmly together. It takes 25 nerve shredding minutes to climb to 12,000 feet, but once there it’s out into the deep blue for an incredible 40 seconds of free fall; your instructor giving you a full demonstration of his skills with some fun aerial manoeuvres! At approximately 5000 feet they will deploy the special two man parachute and you can both gently glide back down to earth, admiring the beautiful Cambridge countryside as you do. Once back on solid ground, you will have the opportunity, subject to the instructor’s availability, to try the indoor sky diving wind tunnel to top off a great adrenaline fuelled day!
