The demanding Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a tough and rewarding trek that involves climbing three of the UK’s highest peaks in less than 12 hours - Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. This weekend package includes two nights in a comfortable hostel near the challenge start point with breakfast each morning, a packed lunch for the trek and a meal to celebrate completion! During the trek you'll have a guide by your side every step of the way and transfers provided between each peak, meaning you’ll be able to focus on taking in your beautiful surroundings and on tackling the 1,600 metres of ascent and descent.
This is a great chance to take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge and make the most of your time in this beautiful area. You’ll enjoy two nights’ accommodation in a hostel near the start location (the night before and the night of the challenge), breakfast each morning, a packed lunch on the day and a three-course meal and celebratory glass of fizz on completion of the challenge.

This incredible challenge will see you completing a 25 mile circuit of three peaks (Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough) within 12 hours, starting and finishing at the same point. These peaks form part of Pennines and stand at the head of the Ribble valley in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, so you can also be sure (weather permitting) of some stunning scenery.

There will be a number of leaders involved, so if you are slower than others in the group you will not be holding them up - or be in any danger of being left behind - and although the aim is to complete the trek within 12 hours you will be able to take it at your own pace! There will also be a support car at your disposal to support you (or your team) throughout the day. as well as checkpoints at both road crossings supplying hot/cold drinks, snacks and water refills along with full first aid support.

The challenge is completed the opposite way to most groups to as it makes for a less crowded, more enjoyable experience. And the famous bog comes at the end of the day rather than the beginning (so you won't start with soggy boots). You will receive a certificate of completion - perfect for showing off!

Had a fantastic weekend away doing the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge, and it really is a challenge. I have never done anything as physically demanding as this, but the feeling you get when you finish is unreal. The aim is to finish the 25 miles in 12 hours, I did it in 11 hours 15 mins, so well chuffed with myself. Even if you think this isn't your thing, try it, you will enjoy it.
What would you improve for next time? Nothing, the staff were great, so was the food they cooked. It has to be a 10 out of 10

The walk itself is well organised and very enjoyable, but the weekend accommodation and catering is basic and simple. It may be of more use to people travelling from far and/or cannot organise their own place to stay. Don't let that stop you though, go and complete this challenge, you won't be disappointed!
What would you improve for next time? Exclusive use of hostel, better quality food
