A Great Voyage Myself and 3 others (aged 21 males) headed down the River Dee in Llangollen on Saturday 26th April. It was an amazing and very enjoyable experience. Before we went I thought that the experience was going to be quite tame, as I have being kayaking down rivers before. However, the experience in the raft is totally different and brings another element to travelling down the river. The instructors were in good humour and they also helped make the experience a fun and thrilling one. The 2-3 hour voyage was to the right amount of time as another hour would have perhaps led to being too cold! However the weather was nice and the rain held off! The only change I would make is to perhaps make it a bit cheaper, or to create a discounted deal when you bring so many people along to raft. Overall, we all had an amazing time! The games on the boat were enjoyable and very amusing! Falling into the water was one of the best parts! During this time the water was a bit of a shock at first but once you'd fallen in the first time you didn't want to leave the cool, clear water of the River Dee. 27 April 2014
Prepare to get very wet! We had so much fun. The raft guide was excellent, making sure we not only enjoyed the rapids but had games to play along the way! Definitely an experience I would recommend to everyone. If the guide asks you if you want to try surfing the rapid, it's a must try and dont worry it doesn't involve a surf board. If you want to stay warm don't wear something made of cotton under your wetsuit. 12 April 2014
White water Llangollen 8th march 2014 Well what can I say.the river was above normal levels and I paired up with a stag do from Shrewsbury who were clearly out for a good time. The organisers fully engaged the party and myself and we all fully enjoyed the experience. Yes book it and do it at this venue, spectacular scenery and atmosphere and passes at the end the town of Llangollen which hash ample opportunity from the bridges over the towns river for famil and friends not only to see you travels down rapids but also take photographs of the occasion. Full safety brief beforehand and tips about riding the rapids .excellent trip 26 March 2014
