Join an expert mountain guide for an overnight camping adventure amongst some of the UK’s most spectacular scenery! Available in Snowdonia or the Lake District, you’ll travel in to the mountains to be taught the basics of camp craft including making camp and cooking dinner – all topped off with the pleasure of waking up in the remote mountains! This really is an incredible chance to discover your wild side, learn new skills and see some of the most stunning sights the UK has to offer!
This unique experience is available in the Lake District or Snowdonia. Your adventure starts in the morning, when you will meet your guide and then sort out group equipment and most importantly arrange the dinner. Once your bags are packed you will head off for a nice but gentle day walk, giving you the chance to explore this truly stunning part of the UK. As the evening approaches, under the guidance of your leader you will decide as a group on the best place to locate your camp. After making camp you will have the chance to spend the night learning some of the basics of bushcraft along with cooking dinner - if you wish you can even have a go at night navigation or just enjoy a mini adventure out under the stars. After waking in the mountains you will enjoy a short walk back to your cars in time for a well deserved Sunday lunch in a local pub (not included) before heading home.
This event really is aimed at everyone and is perfectly suited to family groups and beginners - both the day walk and the mountain location are carefully chosen to ensure you have a safe an enjoyable time. You will not need any special knowledge or previous experience to enjoy this trip, and the supplier can hire you a tent if you need it.

This voucher is valid for 10 months. This package is for one person. Minimum age is 13 but all under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. This experience runs on a variety of dates throughout the year - mainly on Saturday and Sunday but other dates may be available. This is an overnight adventure – you will meet in the morning and will return on the afternoon of the next day. Your are advised to bring warm clothes and walking boots - please check with the supplier for a full kit list. Please note that on top of the standard day walk kits lists you will also need to provide a tent, sleeping bag and thermarest or sleeping mat. You can hire tents or Bivy bags at an additional cost. Please note the location may change at short notice due to weather – however this will not affect the actual event. All dates are subject to availability.
