I had previously only had the pleasure of being a passenger in a friend's Caterham 7 and being the owner of a pretty ordinary car, I was green with envy. When my wife asked me what I wanted for my birthday and found the Caterham hiring experience on the website, I didn't hesitate. For all of the laboured commuting that I find myself doing on a daily basis, this was a great reminder of how enjoyable driving can be. A word of warning though; you will walking around with a demented grin for days after you hand the keys back!
