About Arsenal Football Club
Founded in 1886, Arsenal Football club or 'The Arsenal' or 'Gunners' as they are sometimes known, are the most successful London Premier League team having won a staggering selection of titles and honours. Amongst these achievements, Arsenal FC has completed three historic ‘Double’ winning seasons, and famously went a whole season undefeated in 2003-04 with the team that became popularly known as ‘The Invincibles’.
Despite a glorious history and proud tradition, it became clear that in order to progress Arsenal needed a new stadium to help them compete in the 21st century. Arsenal commissioned a massive undertaking: the creation of a brand new state of the art 60,000 all-seater stadium in the heart of London, with top of the range facilities and design.
The results are now here for you to see: the Emirates Stadium. Amidst this grand transformation, Arsenal FC have remained ever respectful of their wonderful heritage, and as a result now invite you to take a tour of the amazing Emirates Stadium guided by an Arsenal legend of days gone by.
About Emirates Stadium
-
Opened in August 2006, the Emirates Stadium covers 17 acres and was designed by HOK Sport with the aim of creating an ergonomic state of the art structure capable of producing a world class sporting arena and atmosphere.
-
The Emirates stadium seats 60,000 football fans and was constructed using 60,000m3 of concrete, 3000 tonnes of tubular steel, 10,000 tonnes of steel reinforcement and 15,000m2 of glazing. Basically, Arsenal stadium is very big indeed.
-
At the beginning of 2008, Prime Minster Gordon Brown and French President Nicholas Sarkozy used the Emirates stadium to host their ‘Anglo-French Summit’. Rumour has it President Sarkozy merely wanted to meet the Arsenal players on the Arsenal Legends tour and advisors have told next him next time to just go through Buyagift.
-
Not only is Arsenal's Emirates stadium home to some of the latest and greatest football facilities, it was recently awarded the Gold Award at Meet England’s Business Tourism Awards.

It's an amazing stadium. I thought the pitch couldn't be better than Highbury but it is... a club like Arsenal deserves a stadium like this.

What a great Birthday present. Being a big Arsenal fan I couldn’t help but smile when my girlfriend bought me a Legends tour of the Emirates Stadium... A highly recommended buy for any Gunners fan.

Thanks so much for arranging the adult Emirates Stadium Tours, don't know quite how you managed to get the stadium to let me walk through the player's tunnel and go in the changing rooms but I had the best time ever. Oh and standing in the dugout wasn't too bad either.
F Archer, Finsbury Park

My dad and I have been going to the Arsenal for 15 years on season tickets he got us, so I decided to start repaying the favour by buying him this Adult Legend tour of the Emirates. Having a legend do the trip really does make the day extra special and give you something to remember!
