Customer Reviews of Thorpe Park
Ben, Enfield
Long gone are the days when Thorpe Park could be seen as a theme park aimed predominantly at children. In the past, their cute animal mascots, child-oriented sections and generally fantastical atmosphere made it the UK’s most family-orientated theme park. Ten years later and that’s all changed. While Thorpe Park has hung on to some of its most legendary family rides, including Loggers Leap and the Flying Fish rollercoaster, everything else has become much more adult and now targets the adrenaline junkie instead.
Where fun little tractor rides and merry-go-rounds once humbly stood, now in their place are rollercoasters and thrills the like of which haven’t been seen in the country before. Among the foremost attractions the park now boasts are Stealth (0-80 mph in 2 seconds followed by over 200 foot drop) and Colossus (record-breaking 10-loop rollercoaster), although there are 10 other adrenaline-based rides to give the thrill-seekers ample variety.
While being primarily targeted at adults now, there is still plenty of modern exciting attractions for all the family as well, including a 4D interactive virtual reality cinema and sideshow entertainment as well. There’s also an impressive array of fastfood restaurants, arcades, and the opportunity to get absolutely drenched.
Thorpe Park is still great for all the family, but since the turn of the century, it has also become a haven for anyone who seeks the finer thrills in life.

I went to Thorpe Park with a group of mates from work and we had a great time. We were rushing from one ride to the next trying to fit in as many as we could during the day. I would highly recommend Thorpe Park to anyone looking for an exciting day out which caters for the whole group from the less adventurous to the more experienced thrill seeker.

With rides like Stealth, Nemesis Inferno and Colossus Thorpe Park definitely boasts some of the most exhilarating rides in the UK and provides a great day out for all thrill seekers. It’s true that some of the more popular rides can have quite lengthy queues at times although I always found that the rides more than made up for any waiting around and will definitely be going back again soon.
