Slightly surprising facts about destinations for our Hotel Breaks
- London was the first city in the world to have an underground railway, known as the 'Tube'. In 1906 Charles Yerkes unified the London railways and early Underground maps showed streets and local features, kind of like a Victorian Sat Nav for London without the annoying nasal voice barking commands at you.
- The Quantock Hills run north west from Taunton Dean to the Bristol Channel, with views stretching over nine counties so during your stay at The Old Cider House Guesthouse in Somerset, make sure to take some time to explore the surrounding countryside for some dramatic views!

My wife and I really enjoyed our overnight stay at the Bishopsdale Oast in Kent. The hotel was quaint and our room was comfortable, was really interesting being shown around the micro brewery and we decided to eat in as they were baking bread when we arrived and the smell was delicious - dinner was exceptional for a bed and breakfast hotel. Highly recommended.

Amazing short break in paris, great, comfortable accommodation, no trouble with Eurostar (got it from Ashford as is closer to us) good food, great atmosphere. Would definitely stay in Paris again and use buyagift for tickets and things.

I have never seen a more unique and unusual hotel than the old cider house guesthouse in somerset, and in my forty-five years I've stayed in quite a few. We had the poet's room and left our mark on the walls with a haiku about the surrounding scenery. An amazing short break at a hotel with real character. I am very impressed with buyagift's selection of places to stay.
