Many Orient Express Pullman carriages have been involved in events of historical importance, including the state visit of French President Charles de Gaulle in 1960 and the funeral of Sir Winston Churchill in 1965. The Queen Mother, Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh have all taken Orient Express trips as well.

I'm a major fan of Agatha Christie's murder on the orient express so this murder mystery aboard the actual Orient Express was more than I could ever have imagined! In fact to call it merely a train is doing it a disservice - more a luxurious moving restaurant on rails! The meals we had on board were absolutely delicious! Champagne too!
