Clarice House Health Spa Facts
- Clarice House offers fine dining at all three of its country house locations, with healthy, gourmet dishes offered all day at the in-house restaurant.
- Bury St Edmunds, a Clarice House site, is quite an unusual town. Known for the ruined abbey near the town centre, Bury is associated with Magna Carta - in 1214 the barons of England met in the Abbey and swore to force King John to accept the Charter of Liberties (the document which helped influence the creation of the Magna Carta).
- Bury was also the setting for two witch trials, the first under the direction of the Witchfinder General and the second as part of the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 and 1693 - spooky stuff.

I'm tired of all this nonsense about beauty being only skin-deep. That's deep enough. What do you want, an adorable pancreas?

Customer Reviews of Our Clarice House Health Spa Experiences
I am a big fan of spa days and felt that Clarice House was something a bit different, for a start the building was adorably cute and countrysideish, the staff were really friendly and knew what they were doing. On my ultimate Clarice House spa day I had an hour long massage (really relaxing) hour long facial (my skin was glowing afterwards) and chose to have a manicure (nails looked tidy and polished afterwards).

Superior is certainly an accurate description of the quality of this pampering day in Colchester which we found on buyagift. Me and Mum each had a facial, a back and neck massage, and a manicure, as well as lunch and spoiling ourselves with a relaxing dip in the pool and spa bath. Mum was very taken with the hydrotherapy pool, next thing you know she'll have Dad building one in their house!

Never thought I'd be saying this but one of the highlights of our spa break was the food! You expect all this rabbit food type stuff at a health farm but there were proper three course meals for lunch as well as dinner! The spa itself was wonderful and really great place to relax - the pool was heavenly! The spa treatments we received were a facial each and again, faultless.
