Fantastic Day!! My daughters bought me this gift for my birthday and my husband and I went last month. From the minute we entered Wimbledon, it felt a very special place. The grounds were beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful, the museum was full of facts and figures, and the tour itself was very informative and enjoyable (even to a non tennis fan like my husband). The tour guide was a wonderful host and obviously knew Wimbledon inside out and loved it! 16 June 2014
Fab treat Well worth the visit if your into tennis. Bags of tennis info and gossip about the likes of Andy Murray etc . A real eye opener! Takes about 2 hours but the museum could take you a while if you do it properly. We loved it and got great photos. 13 June 2014
What a smash! Found the journey by train and tube from Kent no problem. We enjoyed the tour and the guide was well informed and answered all questions and you could tell she had a love of tennis by her enthusism. The grounds were being got ready for the wimbledon tournament so apart from the maintenance men and gardeners we were pratically the only people there. (Our group was about ten). Not only did we hear the history of the place but saw behind the scenes i.e. press suite, BBC television studio, players interview suite. Had lunch at the restaurant which had a variety of lovely dishes, hot and cold, and reasonably priced. Only having seen the centre court on t.v. it was great to actually be there and take photos. The museum was interesting and worth a visit. We saw the mens, singles trophy and the ladies singles platter. Great hologram of John Mcenroe where it looks like he is speaking from behind a glass in the mens locker room to you. Great day out and would recommend to anyone who is into tennis. 13 June 2014

It was fascinating to see the preparations for the Championships in full swing. all the behind the scenes things you never think about when you watch it on TV.
