All rides and attractions open at 10am throughout the season. Closing times vary. Once you enter the park, you are free to experience all the rides as many times as you like. When purchasing you must select a date on which you would like to attend this attraction; your ticket will be valid for entry to the attraction on the date that you specify only.

On purchasing your tickets you will be able to print a voucher valid for entry to Alton Towers on the date that you specify when purchasing - the printed voucher must be used, screenshots on phones or other handheld devices will not be accepted. This ticket may only be used on the date specified upon booking. Child tickets are valid for ages 11 and under; adult tickets are valid for those aged 12 years and over. School holidays tend to be especially busy and so it is recommended that you arrive early to beat the queues. All rides have height restrictions for safety purposes - please enquire about specific rides upon booking. Young children or those with heart problems may not be able to use all attractions. Please note that theme park tickets are non refundable and non exchangeable. They also cannot be extended.

How to get to Alton Towers
Alton Towers is situated in the beautiful Staffordshire Peak District, and many of the approach roads are narrow, single track and twist through small villages
Getting there by car
Signposts for Alton Towers are clearly visible on the M1 (junction 23a) or M6 (junction 15) travelling North. For visitors travelling South it's Junction 28 on the M1, or Junction 16 on the M6. Parking costs £5 for the all-day car park.
Getting there by public transport
The nearest rail stations are Stoke-on-Trent and Uttoxeter. The Alton Towers transport team run a number of bus services designed to connect with incoming train services from major transport hubs.

Oblivion
You know you shouldn't look down, but you won't be able to stop yourself taking a peek at the colosal vertical drop. You must be at least 1.4m to face Oblivion.
Nemesis
This intense ride takes you over rivers of blood and rock, reaching G-forces greater than a space shuttle launch. You must be at least 1.4m to confront Nemesis.
Air
Feel the exhilaration of being weightless... you're flying. You must be at least 1.4m to fly on Air.
