Went on this Paris day trip with my fiancee and we had an amazing time. The Eurostar from St Pancras is so quick we were in Paris in plenty of time for lunch. The restaurant was really central and the food was delicious. A really romantic trip. 16 November 2010
We'd been thinking about day trips to Paris for a while but never got round to booking a ticket. When we saw this offer complete with Eurostar and lunch we had to go for it! So glad we did we had a fantastic time exploring the city of love and the meal at the French restaurant was gorgeous! 16 November 2010
Great time in Paris, poor restaurant The day trip to Paris was great and the Eurostar was the perfect way to travel. What let this experience down was the restaurant for lunch! We arrived and saw some lovely looking food being served, but once they realised we had the voucher we were given a paper menu with very few choices. There was nothing I liked so had to pay extra to have a pizza from then menu (which was nice) but my husbands pick from the voucher choices arrived and looked awful and didn't taste that great. The booking experience was also difficult. The availability of dates was sparse, and ended up having to compromise with a mid-week trip, which was not our first choice. Having to follow the availability offered by the agent, we had to make do with the dates and make do with a pretty poor lunch. In all honesty if we had booked direct with Eurostar and chosen our own restaurant, we would have enjoyed the experience more. 12 November 2011
