Deluxe Afternoon Tea for Two at the Best Western Grosvenor
A lovely Christmas gift was exchanged for a wonderful self indulgent leisurely experience, afternoon tea at The Grosvenor !
The food, comprising finger sandwiches to start, followed by fresh scones with a choice of homemade jams and Cornish cream, a selection of dainty cakes and individual chocolate mousse, accompanied by pots of tea of your choice.
The attentive waiter finally places a chocolate fondue with fresh fruit and marshmallows to dip in front of you..., fantastic!
This was an absolute treat, a delightful experience, served by attentive staff in comfortable surroundings. Highly recommended.

Tea not quite at the Ritz
We were made welcome and showed to our seats, everything was explained thoroughly, the choices we made proved outstanding the service attentive and so filling we refused the last course of chocolate dip with fruit and marshmallows, we were given a present of herbal tea at the end and departed for home sated.
A very pleasent experience

Great gift for mother's day
The afternoon tea was delicious.
We ordered tea & coffee. We were told coffee was an extra which had to be payed for, but another member of staff said it was included.
On arriving we were told we would receive a selection box of tea's to take home for the Deluxe package but we were then told we hadn't got the Deluxe package. It was a gift from my daughter. She wasn't with me so I couldn't verify that.
All in all the waiter's were lovely & we were offered more tea & coffee if we wanted it.

would not recommend afternoon tea at this hotel. the first pot of tea
was cold and we were not impressed with the service.it took them
three goes at getting our sandwich order correct. the selection of
cakes too small and tasteless..this was a present from our
daughter,and we were very disappointed.
