    The EDF Energy London Eye is open all year round.

    Step aboard the London Eye for a spectacular 30 minute experience and enjoy the sites of London from the capsule. London Eye experiences are available daily (excluding Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Years' Eve) from 10:00am. Closing times vary depending on the season.

    Please note the London Eye will be open until midnight for eight consecutive Friday nights, starting on 21st June 2013 (summer solstice) and finishing on 9th August 2013. Standard tickets, Fast Track tickets and Champagne Experiences will be available throughout the evening, with the last rotation starting at 11:30pm.

    Take your voucher to the London Eye and exchange it for a London Eye ticket prior to boarding. Your flight will last approximately 30 minutes. Your time in the London Eye capsule will be shared with other visitors. You may also see the London Eye 4D Experience prior to boarding the London Eye.

  • Important info

    On purchasing this ticket you will be able to print a voucher valid for an experience on the London Eye - the printed voucher must be used, screenshots on phones or other handheld devices will not be accepted. Your voucher will be valid on the date specified when purchasing only. The first flight of the day takes place at 10:00am; closing times vary according to season.

    Children under 4 years of age may enter for free but a valid free entry ticket MUST be presented at the attraction. Child tickets are valid for ages 4-15 years. Adult tickets are valid for ages 16 years and over. Children under the age of 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Your capsule will be shared with other visitors. Please note this ticket does not include fast track entry, and you will be required to join the regular queue line.

    Please note that these tickets are non refundable, non exchangeable and cannot be extended. All standard flight guests wishing to see the new 4D Experience will need to join the 4D entrance queue with their tickets 45 minutes prior to their booked experience time. Please note, the 4D Experience is not recommended for children under 2 and contains strobe lighting.

Where is the London Eye?

Getting to The London Eye by Tube

The London Eye is a short walk from several Underground stations.

Waterloo, on the Jubilee, Northern, Bakerloo and Waterloo & City lines, is the closest tube station (a 5 minute walk) with Embankment and Charing Cross both a 15 minute walk over Hungerford Bridge from the north side of the Thames.

From Westminster take exit one and follow signs for Westminster pier.

Getting to The London Eye by rail or bus

The closest rail stations are Waterloo and Charing Cross. Buses to the London Eye include:

  • the 211 from west London stopping on Westminster Bridge Road

  • the 77 from south west London stopping on York Road

  • the 381 from south east London stopping on York Road

    The London Eye is also on most London sightseeing bus tours and on the RV1 route that connects the London Eye to the Tate Modern and Covent Garden.
