Edinburgh Dungeon takes you on a hair-raising journey into the darkest parts of Scotland's past.
Edinburgh Dungeon is open every day except Christmas Day. Opening and closing times vary. When purchasing you must select the date on which you would like to attend this attraction; your ticket will only be valid for entry to the attraction on the date that you specify.
On purchasing this ticket you will be able to print a voucher valid for entry to the Edinburgh Dungeon on the date that you specify when purchasing. This ticket may only be used on the date booked. Please check opening and closing times before travelling. Child tickets are valid for ages 5-15 years; adult tickets for age 16 and over. Please note these tickets do not include Fast Track Entry. School holidays tend to be especially busy and so it is recommended that you arrive early to beat the queues. These tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable; they also may not be extended. Please note that the Dungeons are not suitable for young children and those of a nervous disposition.

Edinburgh Dungeons is less than 100 metres from Waverly Station and is only two roads away.
Parking is available at Waverley Station, Greenside Place or St James Cente car parks all of which are with walking distance from the dungeons but slightly further than the station.
Parking is available for coaches from Regent Terrace.
With 8 different attractions at the dungeons they'll be plenty to get scared by with a Judgment of Sinners, Torture Chamber, The Cave of Sawney Bean, Burke & Hare..,Mary King's Ghost, William Wallace (aka Braveheart), Extremis... and Labyrinth.
With actors and plenty of special effects this is a great day out for the family and young children but please note that the recommended age is 4 and above.
