Bought this for my sister and brother-in-law. They had a really lovely time and were lucky enough to have the boat to themselves (normally a £300 cost)!! This was an added bonus, but they both had a lovely time, and said the afternoon tea was delicious and generous. The river boat was beautiful, and the captain friendly. All in all a great gift that I wouldn't hesitate to buy again (probably for my husband and me!).

We enjoyed the afternoon tea river cruise from the Royal Crescent Hotel in Bath. After a short taxi ride from the hotel we arrived at the boat a beautiful Thames cruiser of the 1920s. We were welcomed aboard by the skipper at Dundas Basin and with our two fellow passengers we set off along the Kennet and Avon canal towards Avoncliff in the Lady Sophina. Blair gave us interesting commentary and answered questions before mooring up to serve our tea. We were presented with a beautiful tea the scones and cream were especially delicious. Blair turned the boat at Avoncliff and we enjoyed the sun as we chugged back to Dundas watching the various waterbirds and admiring the moored boats and the lovely scenery. We were recipients of admiring glances from other boaters and the many walkers as we passed by in a boat which seems to have been plucked from a scene in a Poirot film. Our trip a Christmas gift from our son and daughter-in-law was an idyllic afternoon in very pleasant company.
