Hampton Court and Cream TeaTea Used our historic voucher to vist Hampton Court Palace, it was our first time there and was very impressed. Loved all the different periods of the house, especially Henry the VIIIths apartment rooms and kitchens. The grounds were very extensive, especially loved the maze and royal tennis court. Tea was at the Tilityard cafe, consisted of cup of tea, 1 scone and slice of cake each. Different to other experiences since you serve yourself, though still tasty. Did buy a sandwich, so that we could have the full afternoon tea experience. It is important to redeem the voucher in the deli area of the cafe. 26 May 2014
Brilliant! Given Tea for Two as a Birthday gift. We went to Amberley Castle near Storrington, what a fabulous place. Before tea we walked around the lovely grounds of this 900 year old building - fascinating. Then into the hotel for tea. We were shown into a comfy lounge and a vast array of goodies were brought out for us. Warm scones with jam and cream, mixed sandwiches, cakes and biscuits, all washed down with as much tea as you want. There was a choice of several types of tea or coffee if you preferred. Attentive staff and relaxed atmosphere made this an afternoon to remember. 08 May 2014

Anniversary Afternoon Tea Arrived half hour early and had a lovely walk around the castle to work up an appetite. Was greeted warmly at the door and shown to our table in a well appointed lounge. Given time to get settled before being shown the hot drinks menu, including several specialist teas and coffees. The drinks arrived followed quickly by a 3 tier tray of goodies and a basket of scones, cream and jam. The atmosphere was warm, friendly and relaxed with staff checking everything was okay without being intrusive. Spent two wonderful hours savouring the treats laid out before us. Was a great anniversary gift and a lovely venue to have it, will be dropping some hints leading up to Christmas. Highly recommended. 01 November 2013
