Thoresby Hall is a stunning location for afternoon tea. Tea was served in the Great Hall, which has comfortable chairs and a relaxed atmosphere, although we also had the choice of the Blue Dining Room, which was equally as nice. Champagne and strawberries were brought to the table shortly after we were seated, followed by sandwiches and cakes. The tea pot was refreshed as required. The staff were attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed, and even wrapped the left over cakes to take home! Weather permitting I would recommend arriving early to walk around the grounds and visit the stables with the bespoke shops, but don’t forget your credit card! Overall it was a lovely experience, probably a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
