My boyfriend and I recently enjoyed our visit to the Cake Boy Boutique in Battersea Reach London. The service was fantastic and the food/cakes absolutely gorgeous. We visited them and had the Champagne Afternoon Tea for two as I was celebrating my 30th Birthday that day... Thanks again for a brilliant experience!

This is not your regular traditional afternoon tea. Instead you get a range of chocolate and fruit treats which were really well presented in a vibrant cafe store. Staff welcoming and friendly. Definitely a good experience.

We went to Cake Boy on Thurs 28th April. The food was amazing, but the venue was lacking in atmosphere, perhaps partly because it wasn't busy (perhaps it is more so on a saturday), but also the decor is missing the something that makes it cosy.
Also, the goody bag was altogether disappointing. An 80g bar of chocolate, 10% voucher and some leaflets does not constitute a goody bag in my opinion!
The saving grace is that the cakes, sandwiches and drinks were absolutely gorgeous. We each got 3 filled rolls (one of them being a small croissant), and 6 desserts! Granted that 4 of the desserts were small, but I'm glad they were as any bigger would just have been far too much! I ate 4 of my 6, and took the other 2 home, which they were happy to box up for me. We also had teas and coffees and our glass of champagne each.
All in all I would recommend this experience, but above all Cake Boy should really sort their lacking goody bag out.

Wow - this gift was more than i expected. We arrived at cake boy at 1pm and were shown to a comfy sofa area in a trendy cafe! We were then given unlimited hot drinks of our choice and glasses of bubbly to go with it! We were then given a big plate full of yummy baguettes with amazing flavours! Next came a 3 tier cake stand with at least 20 cakes and pasteries on (per person.) As if that wasnt enough they then present you with sundea style desserts! Where to start!!! We met 'the cake boy' and were made to feel like celebs all afternoon, we weren't rushed and stayed until 6pm! This is the best afternoon and i would recommend it to anyone!
