Enjoy a break from the norm with an evening of historical celebration. You will be swept back in time as you enter Coombe Abbey and experience the life of Lords and Ladies. You will join other guests for a banquet of epic proportions comprising a four-course meal accompanied by red wine and mead. A feast fit for a king one might say!
You package includes a four course Medieval banquet for two followed by a disco. The menu is as follows:

The Abbot's Broth - A hearty broth of vegetables, pearl barley and herbs served with stoneground bread.
The Royal Rib - Marinated rib of swine with sage, cider and honey.
My Baron's Chicken - Quarter roasted fowl, rolled in mace, tarragon and crushed black pepper in a sharp lemon and mead sauce.
The Coombe Abbey Apple Crumble - Apple and apricot crumble with elderflower cream.

Vegetarian options are available. The meal is served with three goblets of red wine and three beakers of mead per person.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for two people. You can enhance your evening by hiring traditional Mediaeval costumes from Coombe Abbey which can be ordered and then delivered to the hotel for an additional fee. Medieval banquet nights take place on selected Fridays and Saturdays. Minimum age is 16 years old. All dates are subject to availability.
