The overall experience is okay but I wouldn't rush to do it again. It's just like trying to eat in a very noisy, smoky kitchen. The food is cooked right in front of you on a hot plate so you get all the smoke and cooking fumes close up. It's also incredibly noisy. Quality of the food was acceptable but not exceptional. Chef's were cheerful and did their best to be entertaining but you could see and hear them all using the same routine and banter which made it slightly mechanical. Service was friendly. I'd say it was an interesting experience but not one I'd especially recommend.

We went to the Swiss Cottage Benihana which is nicely done out with a good atmosphere. Having the food (which was brilliant) cooked at the table was a novelty and really entertaining. Recommend it for something a little bit out of the ordinary.

Took my girlfriend to Benihana in Piccadilly for her birthday she thought it was great! Our food was delicious such a range of flavours. Thought this was very good value for both of us it's a memorable dining experience too!

My daughter and her partner gave my husband and me the Benihana experience for Christmas. The gift was appropriate because we had when our children (three) were younger we would take them with friends to Benihana to celebrate birthdays. As the years have passed by we had not visited Benihana and my daughter obviously felt in reflective mood when she decided that our Christmas gift would be a return visit to remind ourselves of those long-gone days of our youngsters childhood. We booked for dinner at Benihana in Chelsea as opposed to our usual Swiss Cottage venue during October and had a really good experience. As usual the food was excellent and served with the theatre we would expect from Benihana. The evening was a delightful and we had a great time.
