This is a hands on class where you will learn how to make cupcakes quickly and easily with the emphasis being on beautiful and unique decoration. With this experience you'll learn how to make delicious cupcakes time and time again, with skills you can use and enjoy for life. After the lesson you'll be able to take home your beautifully packaged handmade cupcakes along with The Cocoa Box’s secret cocktail recipe.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your cupcake teacher for the day. You will be offered a freshly baked cupcake to try during your class along with an exquisite cocktail.
After donning your apron there will be a short question and answer section on how to make the best cupcakes and how to decorate them. You will also be given the opportunity to taste the samples so you can try and recreate them at home.
After a demonstration on piping, hand crafting sugar craft roses, petals and various shapes for decoration, it will be your turn to try your hand at this delicate art. You will then be given cupcakes to decorate with a selection of coloured frostings in piping bags. Learn to use a selection of decorations including sugar strands and dark vermichelli, before leaving with an immense sense of pride and a box of your own unique cupcakes.

This voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. Please have your voucher to hand when you contact the operator to arrange a date for your class. Workshops are available all year round on Saturdays and Sundays. Dates are subject to availability. Some dates may not be available over holiday periods. Start times are approximately; 13:00; 15:30; 16:00; 18:30. You should allow approx 2 hours for this experience. Minimum age is 18.

This was a really fanatastic gift that would suit both beginners and also avid cupcake makers like me, I learnt some really great tips from the team and it was fun to decorate cupcakes in a big group of like minded people! Something really special to remember and my family loved eating the results afterwards!!!

I enjoyed the cupcake class, although I was suprised that we were not baking the cupcakes ourselves. For decoration, we used edible glitter, sugarpaste, vanilla frosting and fondant icing, and were taught how to make shapes, etc which was good. A good cupcake decorating class, and great for sharing cupcakes with friends!

My 2 friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our Cupcake and Cocktails experience. I would definatley consider going again, and have recommended it to all of my friends. The tutor was excellent, and i feel like i learnt a lot about icing and decorating cakes. Plus the cocktail was yummy!
