This cupcake decorating class is a fun, creative and delicious way to have a good time with a twist; you also get to drink a fantastic Cocoa Box Cocktail! As well as having a fun and relaxed time, you and a friend will also gain the skills to enable you to create magical cupcakes time and time again. At the end of this experience you'll be able to take home your boxes of wonderful, hand decorated cupcakes as well as The Cocoa Box recipe sheet.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by your cupcake teacher for the day. You will be offered a freshly baked cupcake to try during your class along with an exquisite cocktail. Each student will be given an apron and there will be a short question and answer section on how to make the best cupcakes and how best to decorate them. You will also be given the opportunity to taste samples to try and recreate at home.
After a demonstration on piping, hand crafting sugar craft roses, petals and various shapes for decoration, it will be your turn to try your hand at this delicate art. You will be given cupcakes to decorate with a selection of coloured frostings in piping bags and a selection of decorations including sugar strands and dark vermichelli. You'll leave with a sense of accomplishment and a box of your own beautiful cupcakes.

Workshops are available all year round on Saturdays and Sundays. Dates are subject to availability. Some dates may not be available over holiday periods. Start times are approximately; 13:00; 15:30; 16:00; 18:30. You should allow approx 2 hours for this experience. Minimum age is 18.

This was a fantastic day out, and one which I would definitely recommend to all the aspiring cake makers out there! I went on this experience with my best friend, to celebrate her 20th birthday. We both had a fantastic time, and found the teaching style perfect! It was laid back and fun, and there were plenty of decorations provided to decorate the cupcakes! Everyone at home was impressed with the 6 cupcakes I bought home, and I have since been inspired to continue decorating (and eating!) cakes! The hotel where the session was based, was easy to find and a nice setting for the class. I would definitely use this website again to find similar experiences.

The cocktails & cupcake class was fun but I wouldn't exactly say it was as billed. On arrival there is one glass of a pre mixed cocktail (no choice) which is all you have for the duration. The cakes are prebaked are you are given icing to follow instructions with to make items such as bows. The clases are basic and dont really allow you to much time to experiment. But if you want an hour or so of decoration 5 cakes then it is a pleasant afternoon.

we had great fun on our cupcake and cocktail day. The cupcakes were delicious, only downside was I was hoping there would be more cocktail experience, instead it was a jug of a cocktail on the side to help yourself to. I was hoping for someone to show us how to make some cocktails etc. Also the groups were quite large so at points it was difficult to follow. But overall we had fun.

Fantastic few hours spent learning about making delicious cupcakes look gorgeous. Course hosts are great! Their decoration ideas and tips are really clever. The cupcakes were delicious. I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who loves cupcakes, likes to bake, likes to make their creations look beautiful. I can't wait to try out what I learnt at home.
