The food itself was excellent, with every single course cooked perfectly and of a very high standard. Upon arrival at the restaurant one of the staff members took our voucher from us. It is not until I have just re-read the gift description that I have realised that the restaurant charged us for our 2 glasses of house wine (£7.99 so they weren't cheap either!). When we were issued with the bill we were surprised but assumed we had made the error because neither of us had read the voucher fully before handing it over.
Having said that, the location of the restaurant was nice and it had a warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff were also very attentive.
If you use this offer, make sure at the outset that the staff are aware that a glass of wine is included as part of the package!
