Boasting beautiful gardens, Swinton Park makes a wonderful venue for this experience. The two course lunch is hosted by Susan Cunliffe-Lister, Country Life Gardener of the Year 2001, who gives an insight into her restoration programme of the parkland and walled garden, the history of the design, and her planting scheme. Next is a guided tour of the grounds featuring the daffodils in April, the azaleas and rhododendrons in May and the Walled Garden produce and flowers for the rest of the summer.
Your lunch begins at 1pm. It will be hosted by Susan Cunliffe-Lister, Country Life Gardener of the Year 2001, who will discuss the restoration and design of the grounds and gardens of Swinton Park. You will receive a two course lunch with coffee. This will be followed by a tour of the gardens.

Swinton Park has such beautiful gardens and it was a wonderful day out getting the tour of them from such an expert gardener. The lunch was delicious too - two courses and coffee too. Something we would definitely recommend you do if you have the time.

Myself and my husband had a lovely day at Swinton Park Susan was brilliant as our host and the garden lunch was delicious. We very much enjoyed the tour of the gardens it gave us lots of inspiration for our own.
