I attended this cookery class which was given to me as a gift by my boyfriend. I'm so glad he picked this cookery school, The class was excellent! they started with some really great info about spices and just broke it down in simple terms - I though i knew my Indian spices this was great. Then we made a whole load of really tasty Indian food like i have never tasted before. I'be eaten at Benares and Tamarind , but this was The Real Deal!!! I know because I've recently come back from Indian - hence the cookery class.
Can't rate this enough... Buy it, its a treat

I attended a half day Indian Cookery class at the Cooking Academy and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys food let alone Indian food. The large private house setting in acres of land is brilliant but the kitchen is huge and really well designed for learning. It was a really relaxed atmousphere and the chef was very easy to follow. Added bonus there was only 6 people in the group which is their maximum class size. Great experience and highly recommended cookery school - they do loads of other classes for Thai, fish , fusion food and they teach kids as well.

I attended this Half day Indian class and I have to say it is the best class/experience and gift I've ever had. The cookery class completely blew away my expectation. The kitchen was warm and friendly from the very start. Small group in the class and the tutor really knew her stuff. It was more than just Indian cookery . It changed my eating habits altogether. Even if i didn't learn how to cook really authentic indian food that day - I came away with so much more knowledge about spices, herbs and how to put food together and why. Highly recommended to anyone who eats food.

I'd always wanted to have a proper cookery lesson because my repertoire consisted of spaghetti bolognaise and calling the local indian takeaway! So my long suffering husband got me this experience day as a gift for my birthday. I had a wonderful time at the cooking school and learnt how to make several nice asian dishes - so hubby will now be living off curry for the next month!
