Love the Theatre Royal thought the chance to look around behind the scenes was awesome. Professional actors took us around the theatre and told us about the history - pretty gruesome stuff really not your average historical tour. We chose to eat at Chez Gerard Opera Terrace - right near covent garden station. There was an opera on that night and so we had musical accompaniment to our meal!

I love the West End constantly accused of being some kind of luvvie because I'm frequently found in the audience of some show or other. This tour of the Theatre Royal Drury Lane was fascinating actually getting behind the scenes on such an historic theatre. My friend who teased me the most has suddenly started gaining an interest in the theatre and was discussing possible shows we could see over dinner!
