If you're wild about photography and go crazy for wildlife then this is the ideal experience for you! During this full day photography masterclass, you'll discover the art of capturing inspired wildlife shots, with expert tuition on how to get the most out of your own camera. You'll have incredibly close-up access to a variety of the most colourful and photogenic animals in the world such as; reptiles, snakes, amphibians, and invertebrates - a unique opportunity you'd never have in a zoo or wildlife park.
The day begins at 10am. You will be based in a luxury log-cabin, with full facilities including smart whiteboard, projector and Wi-Fi plus two studio areas set up with lighting and props, allowing you great access to the animals that you will photograph.
The class will begin with an introduction and overview of the key technical settings of your camera - macro lenses and filters will be available for loan if required.
Next get straight down to business photographing reptiles and amphibians throughout the morning session. During your lunch break you're free to wander the tranquil gardens around the centre or review your morning's work on the overhead projector with critique and advice from the expert photographer. In the afternoon you'll focus on the invertebrates before returning to some of the more popular animals at the end of the day. Expert advice and technical assistance will be available throughout the day to help you get the best light settings, composition and speeds to capture great shots throughout the day. The class will finish at 4pm.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months for one person. You must bring your camera with you on the day; a digital SLR camera is recommended but not essential, standard and compact digital cameras are also welcome. The class is aimed at beginners who would like to learn more about photography in a friendly, informal environment, but is also suitable for those less interested in the technical aspects of photography, who love animals and want some memorable shots to take home. The minimum age is 16 years. Complimentary tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits are available throughout the day. This experience runs on selected dates throughout the year.
