Famous for appearances in wildlife documentaries and commercials alike, these unique and entertaining desert creatures are loved for their hind leg poses and inquisitive nature. Now you can get low down and dirty with these friendly creatures as you enter their enclosure with a keeper and feed them by hand. Expect to be treated as a human climbing frame as the meerkats clamber all over you.
On arrival at Paradise Wildlife Park you are welcome to spend as much time as you like admiring the many collections of exotic animals and birds. You will need to make your way to the Meerkat enclosure for 3pm or 4pm for a briefing by the keeper and an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Then it 's into the cage for a unique face to face encounter with these inquisitive creatures. After the experience you will be presented with a certificate as a memento.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This experience is suitable for anyone over 10 years old. The feeding time is at 3.30pm but you are welcome to spend the whole day at Paradise Wildlife Park as this package also includes admission. Spectators are welcome and can purchase standard admission (£14.00) at the gate. Please check that you are up to date on your tetanus inoculations (this can be verified by your GP). You are advised to wear old clothes as the animals are likely to climb all over you.

It was great to spend time in the enclosure with the meerkats. I was able to feed them out of a bowl on my lap and they also enjoyed trying to get up my shirt at the back. They were very friendly and cute and exhibited all the natural behaviour of wild born meerkats. We got some super photos and I was presented with a certificate and a t-shirt.

What an experience! Bought this as a present for my other half, and I'm really glad I bought one for myself as well! You get a good half hour in with the meerkats, starting by feeding them to get on their good side! The rest of the half hour is spent with meerkats climbing all over you, playing and nibbling...most excellent! Everyone watching us was jealous, and I quite enjoyed being a plaything for the family of meerkats we went in with! Just be prepared to get a bit sandy, as they really do climb all over you, and will eat their lunch whilst sitting in your lap! The rest of the park makes a nice day as well, overall an excellent experience!

this was a great day out the staff at the wildlife centre were very welcoming and ensured my wife had all the details she needed to have a sucessful visit. the time with the meercats we great and the keeper was very considerate and answered many questions.
