The centre is situated in a fantastic location with access to woodlands, a heath and grassland so there is plenty of space for the birds to show off their extraordinary flying talents. You will have a quick training session where you will learn how to fly the birds and some falconry terms. Then take them out on a hawk walk where you will experience the brilliance of the raptors flying as a team. This is an unforgettable experience not to be missed.
Your experience starts with an informative tour of the centre where you will see the variety of birds of prey close up and learn all about their different characteristics, speed capabilities and hunting habits. After that, you will have the chance to fly some of them to the fist under the watchful eye of the trainer. Finally there will be plenty of photo opportunities when you are on your hawk walk so you capture a truly unforgettable experience. You will be at there for approximately 3 hours in total.

Thoroughly Enjoyable Experience To be up close and hold, and learn about, wild birds with experts is obviously going to be fun. To take a bird out and let it hunt naturally, walking through fields, with a Red Tailed Hawk following (most of the time) has to be the high light, even if it did not result in a 'kill'. I will be doing this again! 06 September 2013
Fantastic My grandson and I were treated to a great day with all the information you could take in about the habbits and hunting skills on the Owls and Hawks. We then held each bird and flew them to the hand. After this we took a Harris Hawk into the hills to watch it's hunting skills and also flying to our hand. Absolutely fantastic day. At the end of our visit we were presented with a video of our visit. Thank you George & Lesley 12 August 2011
Friendly and fun Very friendly, and accommodating for the fact that we got lost and were quite late! Very knowledgable and we got plenty of time handling the birds. Getting a CD and printed photograph was not expected and was a wonderful gesture. I would recommend this to anyone 09 June 2011
