This fantastic one-to-one falconry experience is a great way to get up close and personal with some of the world’s most beautiful birds. During your two hour experience an expert falconer will teach you all about a variety of birds of prey, and you’ll be delighted as you get to handle each of these stunning species. You will also be treated to a wonderful Hawk Walk – giving you the chance to fly a bird out in the stunning Scottish countryside. 
On arrival you will be met by a falconry expert, who will tell you all about these amazing birds. You will then get the chance to safely hold various birds, giving you the opportunity to really get close to them and discover the differences between the species which the Falconer has just described. After this it will be off out and flying with the Hawk Walk, where you will be actively involved with the bird. The birds you fly will vary according to the time of year and the weather, but you will see and manage a raptor flying free and doing what comes naturally in the wide open countryside. This event will be on a one-to-one basis, meaning you can move at your own pace and really feel comfortable with these beautiful birds.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. All equipment will be provided for your experience, but it is advisable to bring a pair of wellingtons or walking boots with you and wear suitable clothing for the time of year. You are welcome to bring spectators. Please note that the species of bird flown will be dependent on the time of year. All dates are subject to availability. Spectators are welcome for a fee of £10. This experience is weather dependant; please call the supplier between 6-8pm the night before to check conditions are suitable. If they are not the experience will be re-arranged. If you do not phone to confirm you forfeit your voucher. You cannot take part in this experience if you are intoxicated, and you must be ready to take part in physical activity. 7 days cancellation is required. Please inform the supplier of medical conditions at the time of booking. Hunting seasons must be respected. All bookings must be made in advance.
