relaxing and calm We spent a wonderful hour drifting along on the river at oxford on monday 20th may 2013. It was just what we needed after a day of seeing all that oxford had to offer us. The boat crew were great, easy to chat with, full of info and able to give plenty of advise on the area and all it's natural beauty. Seeing the wildlife all around us was refreshing and the swans were elegant as they drifted along. Baby ducks, looking like tiny balls of fluff floating behind the adults was magical, and the natural nursery that came into view as we drifted along, where the older swans and ducks take care of the younger ones was wonderful. nature at it's best. Being able to take photo's from the boat gives a different view of what we had seen earlier. Would recommend this gift to anyone, we felt very safe, were well looked after and had a lovely end to a wonderful day. 21 May 2013
So............. Peaceful My mother bought this gift for my Partners birthday. It appears we were upgraded to the Spirit River Experience which lasted 2.5 hours. Giles was very knowledgable regarding the surrounding areas/buildings we were passing by. Stop off at a thatched inn was much appreciated, although they really need more bar staff, and drinks were expensive. We throughly enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely recommend this experience to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet whilst sailing down the Thames. 22 July 2012
Nice way to relax Had some difficulties booking the trip particularly as we wanted to enjoy it as a four (using two buyagift vouchers). Trip itself was very relaxed and intimate as there were only ten passengers plus leader so there was a nice atmosphere on board . The downside was the lunch which was rather limited in quantity. It was also a pity that two passengers, out of the ten, didn't have lunch included in their ticket which lead to some embarrassment as the rest of us dug into our lunch and bottle of wine! 08 September 2012
