Learn about the fascinating world of English wine on this illuminating vineyard tour for two people.  You'll get the chance to taste a selection of the wines made at the vineyard as well as discover how wine is cultivated at the venue.  Your guide will reveal the history of wine production in England and how it is grown on a commercial scale.  This is a great way to learn about your favourite drink, and enjoy some of it as you do!
At most venues the history of English wine will be explained by your guide during the tour, which will last between one and two hours. You will discover fascinating information during your tour, including how grapes are grown on a commercial scale, and methods and processes used to produce the wine. There will also be the opportunity to taste a selection of the wines made at the Vineyard.

This experience is available at 7 Locations:

  • Cambridgeshire (South East) - Cambridge
  • Devon (South West) - Okehampton
  • East Sussex (South East) - Hastings
  • Gloucestershire (South West) - Newent
  • Shropshire (Midlands) - Shrewsbury
  • West Sussex (South East) - Horsham
  • West Yorkshire (North) - Holmfirth
Your voucher is valid for ten months. This package is for two people. Please note that this tour is available on selected dates only. You are required to book in advance to avoid any disappointment. The minimum age for this experience is 18 years. The time of tours will vary between each location. Please note: The Gloucestershire location is available Monday - Friday only. The history of wine will not be discussed at the Gloucestershire location. All dates are subject to availability, bookings must be made in advance. The Devon location is available Wednesday and Saturday only, starting at 2:30pm.

Parents loved this tour, however it is more suitable for white wine drinkers as the red wine wasnt very good

We explored the vineyard unescorted which was great as we could go at our own pace and it was in a beautiful setting. We equally enjoyed the personal attention we received during the tasting session at the end and the chance to ask as many questions as we wanted. Of course we didn't go home without buying a few bottles, so all-in-all it was a perfect way to spend a couple of hours.
