This driving lesson at Oulton Park offers you the opportunity to develop your driving skills before you even have your provisional licence – why wait until you are 17? As long as you're 11 or over and at least 4'8" you can get behind the wheel in a relaxed atmosphere. The driving experience will teach the basics – how to start, stop and change gear – with a department of transport approved instructor at your side, as well as gaining confidence on the open spaces of the race track. For added safety all vehicles have dual control.
Your Department of Transport approved instructor will teach you the basics of driving in a dual controlled MINI. There will be up to two other people on this experience with you. You will be at the venue for around two and a half hours, including approximately 35 minutes of driving time each.

Your voucher also entitles you to two grade D race event tickets at Brands Hatch, which you are free to use against a number of race events in the future. These will be sent to you directly by the supplier when you redeem your voucher.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. You must pre-book a date for your experience, all dates are subject to availability. Please note this experience runs on selected dates each month. Minimum age is 11 years, minimum height is 4'8". This experience takes place in a MINI. Please note that there will be up to two other participants on this experience with you. Personal accident insurance and cancellation cover is included in this package. The activity format and vehicles are subject to change without notice.

Fabulous Day This was a christmas gift for my 13 year old niece who is desparate to be able to drive. The added bonus was it was driving a mini cooper which is her favorite car 08 February 2013
Oulton Park Young Drivers Day This is one of the best things I have ever done, I was a bit nervous at first but the instructors were very calm and patient. it turned out to be one of the best things I ever did. Would VERY highly recommend to any young drivers out there!! 30 October 2011
" I had a fantastic time....." For my 15th birthday my Mum & Dad bought me a young driving experience. I chose to go to Brands Hatch. I had a fantastic day. On arrival we had a look around Brands Hatch. Lots to see & do. Once I had registered for my drive I was given a safety talk then made my way to the car (BMW Series 1...) I was in the car with 2 others boys. I had a really nice instructor who was very patient.... I had 2 opportunities to drive the car. All in all it was a great day. 23 September 2011
Great experience I did the young driver, and want to do it again! There were 3 people in the car, and then the instructor. The instructors are very patient, and teach you in a steady but well way. You go round first, just using the clutch, brake and accelerator. Then you move into gear 2, then gear 3, then reversing. You go round the track twice each turn. It was brilliant! Even if people aren't very good, you still go round the same as every one else! The instructors explain everything in extreme detail, telling you what to do when with your feet and pedals, the gear stick and steering! It was a brilliant experience and definitely want to do it again! The cars are also excellent, a BMW 1 series 118i sport with 450 miles on the clock, with great spec!
