Single Seater Driving Experiences
In short, a single seater is the closest that most of us will come to driving an F1 racing car.
They're a type of open-wheel car similar in look, feel and handling to their big brother F1 cars. Generally speaking the single seater cars lack the wings that create aerodynamic downforce (which is what allows F1 cars to handle so well).
They're called single seaters because - here comes Captain Obvious - they only have the single driving seat. This means that there is no room for an instructor when you're driving a single seater.
To help you get the most out of your experience most single seater days have you following a pace car to begin with so that you can learn the ropes.
