The Incredible Auto Circus experience is your chance to drive and compete in some of the craziest cars imaginable. Upon arrival you will be briefed and kitted out race overalls, before taking on the following weird and wonderful driving machines:

Castor Cars Drift Extreme
The latest craze that is sweeping the Auto Circus World! Purpose-built cars with Castors on the back instead of tyres – the ultimate drift machine! Hysterical!

The Double Decker Showdown
Forget buses: imagine two cars, one on the roof of the other! The driver in the top car controls the steering, the driver in the bottom controls the pedals – the maddest race ever! As seen on TV, and totally barking!

The Del Boy Rally
Rally your Reliant Robin through a totally bonkers dirt/asphalt course ... this is what Robins were built for! Wobble-tastic!

Reverse Steer Head Exploder

At the end of the experience you will receive prizes and certificates. The experience will last approximately 4 hours and the Auto Circus bar will be open after the event for you to visit at your leisure.

Your voucher is valid for 10 months. This experience is for one person. This experience is available on selected dates week-round. Minimum age is 17 and participants must produce a full valid driving licence (photocopies not accepted). Maximum height is 6ft 5” and minimum is 4ft 11”. Maximum weight is 20st. Participants must be reasonably fit. You are advised to wear warm clothing as required and sensible shoes or trainers, as well as bringing waterproofs in case of rain. Spectator admission is £10 and includes Beef Burger, Light Refreshments and a Programme. There are covered/heated areas to watch from and the day is enjoyable for family and friends of participants. All dates are subject to availability. This voucher cannot be extended.

BANGERTASTIC!!! ;) The Auto Circus lived up to it's name! After a complimentary coffee and the fun of trying to wiggle ourselves into racing suits, myself and my partner howled with laughter through each of the events. The first was attempting to drive in a simple figure of 8, however the cars back wheels were on casters, so you spent most of your time flinging sideways and giggling until you couldn't breathe. The second event of a car made of two front ends, and two sets of steering, requiring two drivers had us both screaming, laughing and emerging from the wacky wagon with wobbly legs. The third event was the infamous double decker car racing, which was ... interesting, the bottom car had control of the pedals and the top car has control of the steering. It was great fun to have control of the speed (which sadly for safety reason is limited to about 10mph) but it was much scarier climbing the internal scaffolding to the top car and driving through heavy snow in a car with no windscreen and no brakes! But we both emerged laughing and ready for the next event. The fourth of the day was the Del Boy Challenge, a timed lap challenge in a Reliant Robin, which was, both terrifying and hilarious! Drifting a three wheeler around a very muddy bend whilst trying to stop it flipping over was an experience I'll never forget! The fifth event was being handed the keys to a stripped out saloon and being told to "give it some wellie" on a track made of multiple surfaces designed to make you fight to keep control, asphalt, concrete, dirt, gravel and finally mud. Again this was against the clock to try and encourage you to "put your foot down". It was the only time I've ever heard my other half called a "psychopath" hehehehe. It really was great fun! The last two cars were "clown cars", simply drive them round a dirt obstacle course including a cone slalom, sounds easy right? Except the first car had it's steering reversed, so turning left made the car go right and vice versa. It was a real head bender!!!! The second clown car had been "altered" to bounce like a bunny! It was like driving a 70s pimp car with crazy hydraulics! We may not have won any trophies but my god it was the best fun we'd had in ages and both had aching faces from all the laughing and smiling. I honestly can't recommend it highly enough! We're already looking at going back to try out some of their other experiences. Book it, you won't be disappointed! :) 06 April 2013
